Pet Approval & Fee
Our pet approval process is simple—just a few quick questions to get to know your pet.
A pet fee applies per stay. The fee appears automatically when adding a pet to your reservation, or we can add it afterward via change request.
Hot Tub Fee (Management Fee)
Management Fee = Hot Tub Fee
To keep base rates lower, the hot tub is optional.
Because most guests use it, the fee is automatically added to bookings.
If you do not plan to use the hot tub, let us know at least two weeks before arrival, and we will refund the hot tub (management) fee.
A signed waiver is required per our insurance. Please follow all hot tub rules in the rental agreement and posted at the cabin.

Other Things to Note — Hurricane Helene Update
Our area experienced impacts from Hurricane Helene, but the landscape has largely recovered and operations are nearly back to normal. Roads around Burnsville and Spruce Pine have been repaired and reopened, and restaurants, attractions, and local businesses are operating with only a few exceptions.
Additional travel notes:
- A section of NC-80 North has a brief detour (~10 minutes).
- Expected to reopen Fall 2025 (possibly as early as late October).
- Mount Mitchell State Park remains closed.
- Mount Mitchell Golf Course is closed for golf but grounds are open for walking, dog outings, and fishing.
- Grassy Creek Golf Course is open.
- Roan Mountain at Carver’s Gap and many nearby hiking trails are fully accessible.

Pre-Arrival Requirements
Before your stay, we require:
- Completion of a pre-arrival form
- Signed rental agreement
Access codes will not be released until the rental agreement is signed, per insurance requirements.
